A dream to provide cheap, affordable and quality care to the poor residents of Jharkhand state, saw the dawn of the day when the foundations of RINCHI Trust Hospital were laid on 26th April 2001 by the then cabinet minister in Jharkhand Government Sri Ramji Lal Sharda. Following this, on February 24, 2002, a 55-bedded charity ward including 20 free beds for poor was inaugurated by the then Chief minister Sri Babulal Marandi.
Marching ahead to attain excellence in quality medical care, an advanced PICU, NICU and neonatal unit was inaugurated on May 29, 2004, by the then health secretary Sri P. P. Sharma.

The efforts of RINCHI were well recognised by Jharkhand Government when it placed its faith on the organisation and handed over four MESO hospitals to be run by RINCHI. These hospitals are situated in remote nuxalite infested areas of Jharkhand, namely Arki, Jonha, Kathikund and Littipara. These hospitals were handed over in February 2009 and within a year they have proved to be health life line in the respective areas.

Today, RINCHI Trust Hospital has positioned itself as the only 105-bedded tertiary care centre for the neighbouring districts; with round the clock Emergency and Diagnostic Services. RINCHI provides par-excellence tertiary Paediatric and Neonatal level-3 care, well developed ICU’s and Investigation facilities; and full-fledged Multispeciality OPD services at highly subsidized rates.
We are also very proud of housing the only Centre of Breast Diseases and Breast Cancer of the region, complete with full diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities including a Mammogram and Modular OT
